This is a common problem on the K-series gearbox. The countershaft 2nd gear shows wear and starts to not engage smoothly. As with all Honda parts expect a perfect fit and performance every time. Will only fit all K-series gearboxes Civic Type R EP3 and FN2 and Integra Type R DC5.
